Dear Diary,

I’ll be 12 next week! Oh, I’m so excited! Mum has agreed to throw me a party! Mum says I should ask everyone to come for lunch. She’ll order a sumptuous Western buffet and get me a large chocolate cake! I can barely wait till Saturday! I’ll definitely help Mum decorate the house.

I’d love everyone to dress up for the party and I’ve got some interesting ideas for the theme. The theme I have decided on is ‘Western Country’. I hope everyone turns up as cowboys! I better start writing the invitations soon!

Imagine you are Sally. Your birthday is on 17th September. You are planning to invite all your friends. In your invitation, please include the following information :

  • the reason for the party
  • the date and time of the party
  • the venue of the party
  • what food would be served
  • the theme of the party
  • ask everyone to let you know if they would be able to attend the party at least 2 days before

  1. Situational variables can exert powerful influences over human behavior, more so that we recognize or acknowledge. See the link below for more info.
